Meet Our Staff

Mike Kerbs – Administrator
Mike Kerbs started working in nursing homes 1990. In 1994 he was licensed as an Adult Care Home Administrator. Mike graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Gerontology. Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the State of Kansas Administrators Association for two terms. Mike has also served multiple times on the Informal Dispute Resolution Panel for the State of Kansas. Mike has been working for Holiday Resort since January of 2003.

Alicia Rumold - Asst. Admin
Alicia Rumold has been licensed as an Adult Care Home Administrator since 2006. Alicia graduated from Bethany College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and from Emporia State University with a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Alicia has been employed at Holiday Resort since 2004 and is in charge of all Human Resources functions.

Amanda Bess- Quality Assurance/Infection Control
Amanda Bess started her long-term care career in 2009 as a CNA at Holiday Resort. Amanda graduated from Flint Hill Technical College in 2010 receiving her LPN and Associates Degree in Nursing. She continued working as a charge nurse at Holiday Resort. In 2011, Amanda accepted the Primary Care Nurse position. Amanda became a Registered Nurse in 2014 attaining her Associate Degree of Nursing from Brown Mackie College in Lenexa, Ks. She completed her Wound Care Certification in 2013 and RAC-CT Certification in 2015. Amanda worked as the Assistant Director of Nursing Between 2016 and 2018. Amanda accepted the position of Quality Assurance/ Employee Health/ Infection Control Nurse in March 2018.
