Mike Kerbs – Administrator
Mike Kerbs started working in nursing homes 1990. In 1994 he was licensed as an Adult Care Home Administrator. Mike Graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Gerontology. Mike served on the Board of Directors for the State of Kansas Administrators Association for two terms. Mike has also served multiple time on the Informal Dispute Resolution Panel for the State of Kansas. Mike has been working for Holiday Resort since January of 2003
Alicia Rumold - Asst Admin
Alicia Rumold has been licensed as a Adult Care Home Administrator since 2006. Alicia graduated from Bethany College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and from Emporia State University with a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Alicia has been employed at Holiday Resort since 2004 and is in charge of all Human Resources functions
Terri Stewart - DON
Originally from the great state of Nebraska, Thereasa Stewart (Terri) started working in long term care in 1979. Terri became a Registered Nurse in 1992 attaining her Associate Degree of Nursing from Northeast Community College. In 1993 Terri successfully sat for the certification examination from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and was subsequently certified in the specialty field of geriatrics. Upon moving to Kansas in 1996, Terri was granted reciprocity from Nebraska and started working as an RN/DON at St Marys , Kansas. In 2004 Terri accepted the DON position at Holiday Resortand went on to advance her nursing education by obtaining her Bachelors of Nursing degree from Tabor College in 2008. In the fall of 2008 Terri entered the Masters of Nursing Program at Washburn University and graduated in December if 2011 as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a focus on family practice. Terri is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Terri's responsibiilties at Holiday Resort include staffing for the nursing department; oversight and guidance to all nursing staff; creation, editing and review of nursing department policies and procedures; adherence to state and federal regulations and engaging in continual quality review.
Mindy Spradlen- Quality Assurance/Employee Health
Mindy Spradlen began working in long term care in 1991 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Mindy became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1993 and began working at Holiday Resort as a charge nurse. In 2000, Mindy was hired as the Infection Control and Employee Health Nurse at Holiday Resort. Mindy has been certified in Occupational Safety & Health Administration, completed multiple infection control trainings, and has been certified as a Resident Assessment Coordinator. In 2013 Mindy became a Registered Nurse and attained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Brown Mackie College in Lenexa, Ks. Mindy is currently in charge of Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Employee Health and Safety, and Workers Compensation.
